The mission of the Riverview Baptist Church Outreach Ministry is to share the love of Christ and proclaim the Gospel to the people in our community who are not yet members of our church family. We accomplish this mission through evangelism, acts of service, and visitation.
Evangelism
Evangelism is proclaiming the Gospel to people who are not Christian. We evangelize our community through pastoral family trees consisting of evangelism teams. Each pastor leads family trees consisting of evangelism teams. Each pastor leads to disciple each other and share the Gospel with people in the community. The idea is that each church member has the opportunity to learn about evangelism, practice evangelizing, and eventually evolve into an evangelism team leader.

Service is sharing the love of Christ by doing good deeds for others. We serve our community through service teams that serve target populations. We have identified five target populations that Scripture mentions as those believers should be serving. These are those whose basic needs are not being met (the hungry, thirsty, and naked), the sick, the imprisoned, met (the hungry, thirsty, and naked), the sick, the imprisoned, church members who will serve those target populations.
